I am a Bioinformatician at the Child Health Research Foundation, in Bangladesh. At the beginning of my academic career in biochemistry and molecular biology, I discovered that I loved solving problems on sites like Rosalind's, LeetCode, Hackerrank, and others. Because of this, I chose to learn more courses in computer science that would naturally help me work in computational biology.
A strong background in biological sciences has helped me naturally move forward in my scientific career by combining revolutionary NGS technologies (like Illumina and Nanopore) with meticulous techniques from Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology, Single-Cell RNA Sequence analysis.
In my position, I don't just look at biology data; I also actively find my way through its complicated pathways. I use AI to sort through multi-omics data to find new biological discoveries and connections I hadn't thought of before.
Working to better understand, produce, and uncover scientific breakthroughs is important to me because I believe that computational and biological advances are necessary to fully understand the mysteries of life.
