Step-by-Step Guide on How to Turn On night mode snapchat On iOS and Android

Step 1: Open your Snapchat App and Go to the Settings Menu. On iPhone, this can be done by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (be sure you don’t swipe too high, otherwise you’ll open Control Center). On Android, you can find the Snapchat Settings menu in the same place, though the icon may vary depending on your phone and Android version. Once you’re in Settings, scroll down until you see night Mode snapchat and tap it. On iOS, this option will be labeled as New!

Tap the Ghost icon at the top right corner

Tap on Settings in Dark Mode: Choose Manage for Dark Theme.: Toggle it to ON. You can also do that from your settings menu in settings > snapchat > dark theme :) Done! You will get a notification that says We're using less battery. (If you don't see it, clear your notifications.) If you want to go back to regular mode, tap on dark under settings>Manage>Dark Theme, and then turn off. Enjoy your new snapchat dark mode with dark mode turned on!

You can always access Night Mode from your Profile or by swiping left from Home. Then, tap Manage: Scroll down to Settings. Under Account, tap Privacy, then go to Security. Toggle Night Mode on

Night mode in Snap has been rolling out since mid-2018, so you might not see it just yet. But, if you’re able to use night mode in snapchat then there’s no reason not to have it switched on all of the time. Tap your profile from your camera screen and then tap settings > color. That’s where you can switch night mode on at any time by flicking a toggle switch. Once activated, everything that would normally be white will be black (and vice versa). There are some exceptions to what dark mode works in dark mode; some things aren't supported like text input fields, cards with bright backgrounds or images with bright lights behind them.  If you want to turn off night mode in snapchat, simply go back into settings and turn off night mode again. Night mode is only available for snaps sent directly to friends - not for public stories or saved snaps! Note: If you're using an iPhone XS Max, XR or XS, then you'll need to update your app first before being able to use night mode snapchat. Go here for instructions on how to do that!
