Studying biology in germany I found bioinformatics for myself during my master courses. My main goal is to research evolutionary biology and for this I realized it is essential to not only understand the logic behind many of the programs I am using and going to use but also to be able to write some myself.
I am trying to solve most problems in perl and python but am not rushing to get them done fast. Slow and steady :)
